Around the whole area are idyllic circular hiking trails. Just a few steps away is Schloss Berlepsch - the gateway to the Middle Ages. Robin's Nest is located in the border triangle of Hesse, Lower Saxony and Thuringia in the heart of Germany.
This trail leads to numerous castles and observation posts along the Werra. Robin's Nest is located directly on the long distance hiking trail. The Werraburgensteig runs for about 220 km from Eisenach to Hann.Münden.

The student trail is a 230 km long hiking trail. It connects the four university cities of Göttingen, Kassel, Marburg and Giessen.
Experience Workshop - herbal walk
Our herb workshops especially for children are always held on Thursdays and Saturdays in our nest. The children get to know local herbs and collect them for herbal pesto or smoothies under guidance. Explore the environment with a nature guide. Come on an exploration tour in the mysterious beech forest around Robin's Nest and the Berlepsch Castle. Discover many plants, get to know them and learn more about the forest, its trees and other inhabitants. Enjoy the wonderful views into the wide Werra-Meissner-Land.
